Tea Party

I found a fun idea in a recipe and modified it. This recipe suggested making baby caramel apples by using the melon baller thingy (is there an official name for that?) and toothpicks then dipping them in caramel or melted chocolate. Instead we made “sand” out of nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon all [...]

Beautiful Eyes

So maybe I’m a little biased but I think all my girls have such beautiful eyes.

Lauryn’s blue eyes.

Molly and her big brown eyes.

I call Jenna’s eye color “Khaki” light brown with a little green—and lashes for days on this girl.

Too soon to tell the color of Gloria’s eyes…besides her sweet cheeks are a little distracting [...]

Local Friends

I love this! This is Molly and some of her friends playing at school. This makes me so glad we decided to send them to school. It has been amazing for their Spanish, it has provided a way for me to get to know other moms and has helped us become more [...]

Mommy Makeover

She was making us look as beautiful as butterflies.  That was not fun to clean up…..  By the way—thanks Aunt Bekah for the makeup

Gloria

Our precious fourth daughter is obviously a little young for me to do a lot of personality speculation.  She is very into making eye contact—not just regular eye contact however, she seems to be trying to make a soul connection.  I feel like we can communicate with each other through our eyes—she’s very sensitive.

Jennagirl

Oh my sweet Jenna.  This girl has so much personality…wow.  Bit of a (almost two) year old drama queen.  She can go from very upset and angry at me to sad and lovey and affectionate in a 2 second span of time—it’s quite entertaining.

My Molly

Here’s my second born, Molly.  She’s such a monkey—always climbing on things and is very athletic.  She’s very quiet so you wouldn’t really expect her to be literally bouncing off (or more in this case, hanging from) the walls.  But that’s the thing with Molly—very mysterious and complex for a four year old [...]

Lauryn, My Oldest Daughter

I love this photo of Lauryn!  It’s so “her.”  It’s bright and colorful….it’s moving very fast….she’s thrilled and yet she’s thoughtful enough to notice me standing there with the camera

Looks Like a Leake Baby

When each of our four girls were born they pretty much all looked the same.  As they grew they began to take on their very own distinct looks about them.  Now the older three look quite different from each other.
Lauryn is blonde and blue, Molly is brown and brown, Jenna is blonde and hazel….we’ll see [...]
