Oh, how I love desserts! :) I've been using coconut oil, too when I fry or even for salad dressing and it's good. I bought mine from http://products.mercola.com/coconut-oil/ It's a little bit expensive but good thing is that it never fails me since then. Could you post more of your recipes with coconut oil? I would really love that if you do! Thanks!

I love it! Could perhaps be a tad more polished, but it’s far better than what we use at the moment, nonetheless

Hello dude, I really like your site. With the abundance of misinformation regarding this subject on the web, it's great to see some refreshing content. Keep up the good work!

Jaime- I've heard conflicting things about agave also but I say it's still better than refined sugar so whatever. I talk to so many people that don't like stevia. If I use too much it makes me cringe and I can't do it but just a tiny bit seems to work great for me. I really think you'll like these! Very coconutty and melty and oh so delicious.
Amy- I'll let you know when I make the deoderant. We've tried to find a natural and cheap option THAT WORKS for a while and this looks promising to me. She also adds some essential oils which aren't necessary but I bet that would be nice!

I sooo want to try these! They are totally up my alley! And I'm interested in the natural deodorant recipe, so let me know when you try it. Never thought I'd say those two things together.

I can't wait to try these! I am IN LOVE with coconut oil... seriously. I find any excuse to lick the "leftovers" off a spoon. I love it on toast and pancakes and french toast. I love it on my face. I love it in the crust for mocha silk pie (mixed with Kahlua, pecans and grated chocolate). Yum. And to stir-fry veggies. Jed makes fun of me because everyday at least once I say "I love coconut oil, it's sooooo delicious!"

I tried the oil several times in my hair and even the tiniest bit was greasy for me. Maybe curly haired people can use it with success.

I will try these and I will not use carob or stevia. Stevia is too planty for my tongue and carob is used as molasses (in syrup form) in Peru and disgusting in my memory, even though I know the powder is different. I just can't get past it. Maybe I will use agave because I have some. I have read conflicting reports about agave and I don't know what to believe. Any thoughts on if it is good or not so good for you as a natural sweetener?
