Gloria's Chubalubs
No, not mine….at least not in this post.
My Dear Aunt Patty made an interesting observation a few years ago. Here’s how our conversation went:
“These are cute, right? On her…they’re cute.” Said Aunt Patty as she pinched Jenna’s chubby legs between her fingers.
“Uh…yes?” I said.
“Then why aren’t they cute on ME?” She asked.
“And also…it’s okay if the baby gets up in the middle of the night to eat, right?” I nod. “Then it’s okay for me to get up in the middle of the night for a few oreos?”
I often remember this and laugh when I look at my baby’s squishy thighs. And when DOES it stop being cute? And why?
I love you Aunt P!

My Aunt Patty

That is hilarious! Did you send it to Patty?
I love Aunt Patty!! And I love that another generation gets to experience the fun that is Aunt Patty!
Hmmmmmm……if there is room in Micah’s suitcase we may have to meld fat thighs AND coffee cups!
Aunt Patty is kind of famous—a lot of my friends know her or know about her
Marci—maybe their is room in her suit case for you?
A lot of my friends growing up got an earful about my Aunt Patty too! Still do!
Awwww…I miss the Aunt Patty stories!
I’m a little slow, but . . . I just ran into the bathroom to check the mirror – and NOPE, they’re still not cute! Just another one of life’s mysteries I guess. Miss you, loe you and can’t wait to see you in December!!!!!!!!1
